Objetives

This course allows the student to acquire all the training and airport security skills applicable to all those who require unaccompanied access to the Security Restricted Areas (SRA) of an airport.

Obtaining the AVSEC 11.2.6 course certificate is an essential requirement to apply for or renew an airport identification.

Syllabus
  • Previous acts of unlawful interference against civil aviation, terrorist acts and real threats.
  • Relevant legal requirements and knowledge of the elements that contribute to the creation of a strong and resilient security culture in the workplace and in the aviation field, including, but not limited to, the insider threat and radicalization.
  • Objectives and organization of air security, including the obligations and responsibilities of those carrying out security controls.
  • Configuration of checkpoints and inspection processes.
  • Access control and security control procedures.
  • Accreditations and authorizations used at airports.
  • Notification procedures. 
  • Action in the event of security incidents
